The primary responsibilities involve providing excellent oral health care by preserving teeth, preventing the spread of oral disease, and educating patients on oral health maintenance. This includes clinical tasks such as cleaning deposits from teeth, detecting signs of oral cancer, applying fluorides, charting conditions, exposing x-rays, and administering local anesthetics.
