The Dental Assistant II will primarily assist the dentist in providing dental treatment, functioning as a treatment coordinator by preparing and presenting treatment plans to patients. Key duties also involve maintaining instruments and equipment, collecting patient histories, assisting during procedures, and ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization of treatment rooms.
Successful candidates must have 2-5 years of Dental Assistant experience and possess or be working towards CDA certification or equivalent radiological equivalency, along with current CPR certification. Essential abilities include professional presentation of clinical information, knowledge of relevant software like Eaglesoft, strong teamwork, initiative, and the flexibility to travel to other practice locations if needed.
