include assisting doctors in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, monitoring anesthesia, administering treatments, and performing various clinical laboratory procedures like blood draws and urinalysis. The role also involves patient admission/discharge, client counseling on animal care, and maintaining inventory of drugs and medical supplies.
Candidates must possess a Veterinary Technician license or be license eligible, demonstrating technical skills in areas such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring. Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow are also essential requirements.
Liverpool Animal Health Center is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a busy 4 doctor practice that sees dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotics, and wildlife. LAHC is AAHA and NYSVMS accredited.

What Should You Bring to the Table?
Veterinary Technician license or license eligible.
LVT technical skills, including but not limited to knowledge of common diseases, vaccine and injectable administration, venipuncture and IV catheter placement, surgery prep and recovery, anesthesia monitoring, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members
The desire to learn and grow!
Starting pay rate is typically $22-$24/hr commensurate upon experience.
