The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures across various critical care and procedural areas, adhering strictly to all safety standards, protocols, and providing compassionate, age-specific patient care from neonates through geriatrics. Responsibilities also include maintaining equipment quality control, accurate record-keeping, and ensuring patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold required certifications (ARRT-R, Ohio RT:R, BLS). Preferred experience is 2-5 years as an X-ray technologist, though new graduates will be considered, and proficiency in various imaging equipment and strong communication skills are mandatory.
It covers all Adult and Pediatric ICU's. All OR's, all Level One Trauma both adult and pediatrics, inpatients, outpatients, and GI exams.
Education Qualifications Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Required)
Skills and Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system. (Required proficiency) Must demonstrate effective organizational, written and oral communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
