Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans while monitoring and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator for patient care and assist with discharge planning needs.
Candidates must have a BLS Provider certification and a Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing. A diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure is also necessary.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Provides comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult patient population requiring observation Performs ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions to ensure early detection of patient status changes. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and safe, efficient patient throughput. Educates patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge instructions to support continuity of care and prevent readmissions.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences we're seeking 6 months of acute care nursing experience Must be willing to obtain the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification
