Imaging Tech Multimodality, Marshall Medical Centers (South), PRN

• Overview Performs clinical imaging procedures to include Nuclear Medicine, CT, MRI, General X-ray, and/or Ultrasound where qualified at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Responsible for maintaining the uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties.
• Receives and processes necessary patient information, Uses independent judgment and initiative to perform imaging exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort and protection.
• Assists the radiologist and attending physician.
• Communicates effectively and appropriately, works efficiently and productively, maintains a clean and safe environment by demonstrating proper use and care of equipment.
• Reflects a caring attitude for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Stays abreast of changes in their profession or discipline through continuing education programs.

Qualifications

License, certification and/or registration: ARRT Licensure or NMTCB required. Must be registered / registry eligible in four additional modalities. When one of 2 modalities is Ultrasound, must be ARDMS registered Additional abilities/skills: Expected to take call in any area after the completions of competency requirements are met.
