The Physical Therapist evaluates, treats, documents, delegates, and discharges patients according to service guidelines while engaging in interdisciplinary patient care management. This role also involves billing appropriately for services, providing oversight of Physical Therapist Assistants, and participating in performance improvement activities.
Candidates must possess a Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program and hold a current physical therapy license in the State of Ohio, with BLS certification required within 30 days of hire. While 1-3 years of related experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Miami Valley Hospital North Physical Therapist (PRN) Huber Heights Clinic Shift options 4 - 9 hour; 2 to 4 days per week, preferred Tuesday or Thursday & Half day Friday General Summary: The Physical Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning. The therapist participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Education Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
