The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the Nurse Manager's guidance to participate in multi-disciplinary patient care and treatment. This role involves providing essential clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited LPN program and hold a current New York State LPN license, with BCLS certification required. While two years of experience and prior outpatient setting experience are preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
The Staff Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision and guidance of the Nurse Manager, participates in the multi-disciplinary care and treatment to patients, and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff.
Functions within the scope of practice dictated by the authority of the New York State Office of Professions.
