The LPN provides clinical support and technical assistance to medical staff while participating in multi-disciplinary patient care. Responsibilities include managing visit lists, performing venipuncture, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program with a current New York State license and BCLS certification. Prior experience in an outpatient setting and an Associate's degree are highly preferred.
The Staff Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision and guidance of the Nurse Manager, participates in the multi-disciplinary care and treatment to patients, and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff.
Functions within the scope of practice dictated by the authority of the New York State Office of Professions.
