Perform routine and interventional Computed Tomography examinations according to departmental protocols. Manage quality assurance and the administration of contrast media while maintaining a sterile environment for biopsies and drainage.
Requires completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and current NY State licensure. Must hold ARRT certification in CT and BCLS certification, with a preference for two years of hospital-based experience.
The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for performing all routine Computed Tomography procedures/ examinations as specified in Departmental protocols, as well as Quality Assurance and Interventional C.T. scan procedures/ examinations.
