The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide longitudinal follow-up care to elderly residents in various long-term care settings. This includes treating mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and managing Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD).
Candidates must be a Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted state license and current DEA registration. A minimum of two years of experience working with geriatric or long-term care populations is required, along with advanced knowledge of dementia-related behavioral management.
