The nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient health status, formulating and implementing individualized plans of care, and coordinating care activities within the assigned unit. This role also involves documenting all care provided, communicating findings to the healthcare team, and evaluating patient outcomes in collaboration with patients and families.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse License issued by Florida or a Compact State. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with unit-specific certifications like ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, or STABLE potentially being required.
