The nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient health status, formulating individualized plans of care in collaboration with the team, and directing the implementation of care activities. This role also involves continuous evaluation of patient outcomes, patient education, and accurate documentation of all care provided and patient responses.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse License issued by Florida or a Compact State. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with potential requirements for ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and STABLE certifications depending on the unit.
