The Licensed Practical Nurse will direct and lead resident care under physician direction, utilizing specialized nursing skills for long-term care settings. Responsibilities include reviewing and updating care plans, coordinating ancillary services, and supervising direct care staff during the assigned shift.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the colleague must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 35 pounds independently and utilize proper techniques/tools/assistance to lift greater weights, including the human body. Ability to turn, reposition and assist patients to transfer and ambulate. If necessary, must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
