Occupational Therapists work with patients and families in the patient's residence, performing visits and acting as the central point of contact for all care disciplines. The role also involves following agency policies and consulting with the patient's primary care physician.
Candidates must be currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Idaho and possess a valid driver's license with automobile liability insurance. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, along with current CPR (BLS) certification and general computer knowledge.
Heritage Home Health Occupational Therapists (OTs) work with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals in the patient’s place of residence. In addition to performing visits and completing coordination of care, the OT is the point of contact for all disciplines involved with providing care to the patients. The OT follows agency, state, and federal policies and procedures. The OT will consult with the patient’s primary care physician and attend meetings as required.
Be currently licensed as an OT in the state of Idaho A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred but not required Demonstrate knowledge and skill in nursing practice CPR (BLS) professional certification General knowledge of computers and the ability to learn industry-specific software and documentation applications Possess a valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
