The Advanced Practice Provider will work as a dyad partner with the on-call Cardiologist, primarily seeing follow-up patients in the hospital. Responsibilities include managing patient care, responding to calls and messages, and rounding in the inpatient setting.

Depending on departmental need and coverage, schedule may be structured as 4/10 or 5/8 shifts, hospital inpatient coverage (1st contact text messages) APP will work as a dyad partner with the on-call Cardiologist, primarily seeing follow-up patients in the hospital Average # of patients seen per day: 8-15 Majority of work will be in the inpatient setting, but APP may also provide coverage in the Cardiology clinic (located on main VMC Hospital campus) Primary point of contact for calls/Voalte messages/rounding responsibilities
Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority At least one year of experience as an APP in Cardiology strongly preferred

$140,000 - $155,000 (depending on experience)
