The role involves providing clinical, administrative, and staff support, including assisting with dental and radiography procedures while preparing and maintaining necessary equipment and supplies according to protocols. Key duties also include coordinating daily patient administration, records management, and general office support activities.
Candidates must have completed a dental assisting program or possess 12 to 18 months of relevant experience or training, along with computer literacy and basic knowledge of third-party payers. Essential duties require assessing patient needs, providing chair-side assistance for various dental procedures, and maintaining clinical equipment.
Under general supervision, provides a range of clinical, administrative and staff support. Assists in the performance of dental and radiography procedures, prepares and maintains dental equipment and supplies in accordance with established PCHC protocols and policies. Assists in the coordination of day-to-day patient administration, records management, and office support activities.
