Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, along with 1 to 3 years of experience working with adults with persistent psychiatric conditions or co-occurring disorders. Valid Massachusetts licensure (LCSW, LMHC, etc.) is preferred, and strong organizational and computer skills are necessary.
As a Behavioral Health Clinician (Masters Level / License) you will provide evidence-based practices and outpatient therapeutic interventions to adults and youth experiencing mental health or co-occurring disorders and/or behavioral health concerns.
The Behavioral Health Clinician will also
Provide direct therapeutic interventions and support services, in-person and by telehealth, to clients
Conduct intake evaluations and on-going assessment to develop treatment plans and determine appropriate interventions to a caseload of clients
Ensure recordkeeping/documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
Coordinate treatment and care with other providers as needed
Work as liaison between Vinfen programs, state agencies, funding sources, and community referral sources
Communicate and network with community providers and collaterals to increase access to care/promote ambulatory care
Provide services to children, adults, families, and/or groups
Provide after-hours on-call coverage in rotation with other program staff
Perform other duties as assigned
