This travel opportunity is designed to empower you to apply your LPN skills across varied long‑term care settings, making a lasting impact while you grow professionally.

Start Date: 03/02/2026.

The assignment is measured in weeks, with the potential for extension based on facility needs and your performance, ensuring you can plan for ongoing advancement while maintaining a stable schedule.

Weekly pay ranges from $953 to $982, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, providing both competitive compensation and predictable planning for your personal and professional life.

Pembroke combines small‑town warmth with broad access to North Carolina’s natural beauty and cultural richness. You’ll experience a welcoming community that values connection, heritage, and outdoor recreation. Beyond the immediate duties of patient care, you’ll have the chance to discover the state’s scenic landscapes, from tranquil river trails to easy access to coastal and mountain regions, offering frequent opportunities for rejuvenation during days off. For those drawn to variety, our program also opens doors to opportunities in other locations across the United States, allowing you to broaden your clinical horizons while maintaining the security of a consistent career trajectory.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of long‑term care excellence.

Your responsibilities will include assessing residents’ health status, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vitals, and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

You’ll provide skilled nursing interventions, support daily activities, reinforce infection control and safety protocols, and educate residents and families on wellness strategies, discharge planning, and symptom management.

You’ll document accurately, communicate changes to supervisors, and advocate for residents’ preferences and rights.

The position emphasizes continuous learning—opportunities to advance your practice through LTC‑specific certifications, leadership pathways, and mentorship from seasoned clinicians.

You’ll have space to grow within the specialty, expanding your skill set to include wound care, pain management, fall prevention, and palliative care principles as you pursue professional milestones.

We pride ourselves on competitive benefits that recognize your expertise and dedication.

In addition to the solid weekly compensation, you’ll enjoy a guaranteed 36 hours per week and the stability that comes with a structured travel assignment.

A bonus program acknowledges your commitment and successful placements, while housing assistance helps ease transit and lodging logistics, so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

The role also offers extension opportunities—if you thrive, there are structured pathways to renew and expand your contract with the same facility or across other sites in our network, aligning with your personal and professional goals.

Round‑the‑clock support is a hallmark of our program; as you travel, you’ll have 24/7 access to dedicated staffing consultants and clinical leadership, ready to assist with scheduling, urgent needs, or on‑the‑ground guidance.

This comprehensive support ensures you can navigate the complexities of travel assignments with confidence and peace of mind.

Our company values your growth as much as your care for residents. We’re committed to empowering staff with clear pathways for career advancement, continuing education sponsorships, leadership development, and a culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, and work‑life balance. You’ll join a network that celebrates your contributions, offers constructive feedback, and fosters a supportive environment where questions are welcome and mentorship is available at every step. Whether you’re navigating complex care plans, refining assessment techniques, or taking on junior leadership roles, you’ll find a home for your professional ambitions here.

Market context

North Carolina nursing roles stay competitive

North Carolina nursing jobs often reflect steady demand in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care settings, especially for RNs who can provide age-appropriate care across patient populations. These roles are competitive because employers typically want an approved nursing-school graduate with a current North Carolina RN or Compact License and active AHA BLS certification. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, and confirm your license status and BLS renewal before applying.
