The Specialist will manage the accurate and timely intake, review, and filing of patient documents within the Electronic Health Record (EHR), ensuring proper scanning, indexing, and error correction. This role also involves supporting audits and maintaining compliance with documentation protocols, privacy regulations, and performance standards.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in medical records, health information management, or a related healthcare setting, and must obtain RHIA or CEHRS certification within 18 months. Proficiency in English is required, along with skill in EHR systems, document scanning, and indexing software, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
$18.00 - $21.00/Hour *All Pay Rates are subject to Experience, License or Certification and Location*

The Specialist role will be responsible for managing accurate and timely intake, review, and filing of patient documents in the EHR. Ensures proper scanning, indexing, and error correction, supports audits, and maintains compliance with documentation protocols. Safeguards the integrity and accessibility of health records while upholding performance standards, SOPs, privacy regulations, and culturally and linguistically appropriate service.
