The technologist performs OR-Hybrid imaging exams, adjusting technical factors for sterile procedures, and assists surgeons while ensuring timely and quality diagnostic images are produced according to established protocols. Responsibilities also include managing radiation dose, administering contrast material, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
Required education is an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduation from an AMA-approved school, along with ARRT and MRT certifications, Texas Medical Board licensure, and current AHA/ARC Basic Life Support certification by the start date. Candidates must be able to lift 40-50 pounds and demonstrate proficiency in OR imaging procedures and teamwork behaviors.
JOB SUMMARY Works under minimal supervision with the physicians to perform OR-Hybrid imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.
