This position involves performing all routine respiratory care modalities, administering treatments, and setting up or changing oxygen equipment under supervision. Key duties include performing basic respiratory care techniques, responding to emergency calls, and maintaining necessary respiratory equipment.
Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire and demonstrate proficiency in all required competencies. Preferred qualifications include enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Care Program with clinical experience, with expectations for graduates to achieve NBRC CRT and RRT credentials shortly after hiring.
This position performs all routine respiratory care modalities, sets up or changes all oxygen equipment, participates at codes and stat calls and performs other shift related duties as assigned or needed.
