The practitioner assesses patients to develop and implement appropriate respiratory care plans based on diagnosis, monitoring patient condition and performing advanced respiratory care modalities. They also educate patients and families, assist with equipment maintenance, and respond to emergency resuscitation calls.
Candidates must possess a High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's or Technical degree, along with a current Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board. A BLS Provider credential from AHA is required within two months of hire.

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking 36 hours a week | Nights | Three 12 hour shifts | Every 4th weekend | Every other holiday Registry in Respiratory Therapy (RRT) preferred. 3 years adult critical care experience preferred. Arterial line and intubation competence preferred. Must be willing to train in placement of advanced lines (ie arterial, mid-line /PICC) insertions needed
