Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a high-acuity PCU assignment in Columbus, Ohio supporting a medical oncology patient population.

This role provides advanced progressive care and telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced oncology-focused environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW This opportunity is ideal for nurses with true high-acuity PCU experience who are comfortable managing complex oncology patients requiring continuous monitoring and rapid clinical decision-making.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Day or Night shift | 3x12 (07

• 00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30)
• Self-scheduling (requests submitted prior to final schedule)
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Floating required to equivalent or lower acuity units

COMPENSATION • Gross

• $2,359 per week
• W2: $24.50 per hour
• Tax-Free
• Stipend: $1,477 per week

• Clinical responsibilities
• Provide care to high-acuity oncology PCU patients
• Perform continuous telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Administer blood products, IV medications, and oncology-related therapies
• Manage central lines, ports, and complex IV access
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary oncology teams
• Document care accurately in Epic EMR
