The role involves providing comprehensive care within the scope of endocrinology in collaboration with the care team and ensuring timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Responsibilities also include coordinating comprehensive treatment plans with other professionals and communicating results and follow-up steps to the patient.
Candidates must be Board Certified (BC) in Endocrinology and possess an active, unrestricted New York State Physician License, DEA Certificate, and BCLS Certification. Additional requirements include an Infection Control Certificate and completion of mandated NYS prescriber education within the last three years.
Unique opportunity to join a dynamic Ambulatory Care team in value-based health care system. We are an integrated health care delivery system, which includes Primary Care and medical specialties, onsite pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, dental, physical therapy, eye care, and mental health services.
Workweek includes 4.5 days of direct patient care and 0.5 day administrative time, with exclusively ambulatory medicine practice, no nights or weekends and no on-call coverage.
