The Registered Nurse coordinates and provides care using the nursing process framework, which involves decision-making to partner with patients and families to attain, maintain, or restore health. Responsibilities include assessing the patient, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care, administering medications, and providing necessary health education.
The primary requirement is licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and obtaining a BLS Certification within 14 days of hire. Candidates should possess computer literacy, and the role emphasizes providing safe, quality care while preserving patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
