The nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient health status, formulating individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, and documenting all assessments and interventions. This role also involves directing care team members, transcribing physician orders, and ensuring patient rights are upheld according to established guidelines.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing and hold a Registered Nurse License issued by Florida or a Compact State, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additional unit-specific certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NIHSS may be required depending on the unit.
