Med Techs administer and accurately record medication administration under nurse supervision, obtain and report vital signs, and manage the medication supply. They also provide personal care, assist residents with daily living activities, and monitor for changes in condition or hazards.
Candidates should ideally have six months of experience passing medications in a retirement community setting, although CMA certification is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must be caring, organized, able to multi-task, and communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and staff.
