The Medical Assistant will perform basic patient assessment activities, administer tests, complete necessary forms, assist with procedures, and collect specimens under the direction of healthcare providers. They are responsible for thoroughly documenting all services rendered in the electronic medical record and maintaining compliance with safety and confidentiality regulations.
Candidates must possess basic patient care skills, good physical stamina for standing most of the day, and strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse staff and patients. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program with CMA or RMA certification is preferred.
