Assist in providing physical therapy for individuals evaluated by the physical therapist. Follow the treatment plan established by the PT and work in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
To assist in providing physical therapy for individuals evaluated by the physical therapist and in conjunction with PT treatment plan.
Follow the treatment plan established by the PT.
Work in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist in course of treatment.
Educate/train ancillary staff members.
Complete any forms for participation in insurance including but not limited to Medicare and New York State Medicaid.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Physical therapy assistant with appropriate NYS license/eligibility.
