The role is responsible for providing psychiatric evaluation, monitoring, and psychopharmacology services to individuals within a clinic setting, consulting on treatment outcomes, and electronically documenting all clinical records. This position also involves working in conjunction with the Clinic Psychiatrist and providing coverage when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Consults with each person receiving services and/or collaterals regarding treatment outcomes and course of treatment.
Treatments will be in person or via telehealth based off of patient preference and regulatory requirements.
Services are delivered out of Oneida or any satellite location as needed.
Electronically documents in each person’s confidential electronic clinical record, all diagnostic assessment reports, individual plans of treatment and treatment notes regarding service being recommended and/or delivered.
Participate in necessary follow up related to billing for services.
Review, update and complete treatment plans every six months electronically.
Works in conjunction with the Clinic Psychiatrist and will provide coverage for the Clinic Psychiatrist when necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New York State; Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification from the ANCC. One year’s post degree experience in a human services setting; must be accepted by Medicaid and Medicare for billing; current DEA license, current CAQH account prior to beginning work.
