Peer Recovery Support Specialist, PARC-7424-3-#

• Person with at least one year lived experience in recovery from substance use disorder needed to provide peer support services to individuals in the Piedmont Adult Recovery Court (PARC).
• Using the shared experience of being in recovery, the PARC Peer Recovery Specialist engages individuals in the recovery process and supports them to improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth, and unique attributes of every individual required.
• Registration as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist preferred.
• Must be able to achieve registration within one year of hire.
• Basic computer skills, valid driver's license, and safe driving record preferred.
• Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to this position
