Key duties include executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events, as well as assisting in the operating room during orthopedic surgeries.

Compensation
$24–$38/hour, based on experience and skills
Higher rates available for VTS technicians
Schedule
3 12-hour shifts per week
Wednesday/Thursday, plus alternating Friday/Saturday

Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures alongside each surgeon
Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation and anesthetic events
Assist with operating room duties as a nurse and scrub-in technician during orthopedic surgeries
Provide comfort, advocacy, and high-quality nursing care for every patient
Qualifications
Experienced Veterinary Technician, Vet Tech, CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred
Anesthesia, surgery, specialty, emergency, or critical care experience preferred
Strong patient monitoring, technical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced specialty veterinary environment
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
