As a Radiology Special Procedures Tech, you’ll be integral to the IR suite’s efficiency and patient safety. Your days will include pre‑procedure preparation, sterile technique, line and catheter access, as well as sterile field management and needle localization under fluoroscopic or image‑guided guidance. You’ll assist with hemodynamic monitoring, contrast administration, and post‑procedure recovery checks, while ensuring radiation safety and equipment integrity. You’ll collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to optimize throughput and imaging quality, document procedures accurately, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
