The Registered Medical Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision, communicating clinical conditions and diagnostic results effectively to physicians and team members. This role also involves completing accurate patient documentation, managing charges, and facilitating smooth communication between back and front office processes.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree preferred, and must possess a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certification. Essential abilities include professional verbal and written communication, following instructions, understanding insurance benefits, performing basic math, adhering to HIPAA ethics, and typing at least 40 WPM.
