Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Kingston, NY)

Requirements

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Collaborate with facility staff and family members Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care Document care in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

Certified PMHNP Active DEA Active, unrestricted state license Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred (not required) Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
