The Resident Assistant is responsible for caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents, including assisting with activities of daily living such as wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility. They also aid in daily tasks like housekeeping, transportation, and participation in resident programming.
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and staff. While a CNA certification is a plus, it is not required, but experience with dementia care is preferred.
