The role requires clinical expertise in physical therapy, focusing on evidence-based practice to guide patients through personalized rehabilitation plans. As a Physical Therapist specializing in rehabilitation, you’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, design and implement individualized treatment plans, and adjust approaches to optimize functional outcomes. Your daily responsibilities may include gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, strengthening protocols, balance and fall-prevention interventions, and patient education on home exercise programs. You’ll document progress in a timely, compliant manner, communicate findings with the care team, and facilitate safe discharge planning. You’ll guide patients through postoperative, orthopedic, neurologic, and musculoskeletal rehab scenarios, always aligning interventions with best practices, patient goals, and safety standards. The role fosters professional growth within the specialty, with exposure to diverse caseloads, mentorship from experienced clinicians, and ongoing learning opportunities to deepen expertise in areas such as amputee rehab, vestibular therapy, pediatrics, or geriatrics as your interests evolve.
