The Advanced Practice Provider evaluates and treats patients of all ages presenting with medical, surgical, and emergency conditions within the Emergency Department setting. This role involves completing patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and administering or prescribing treatments under the supervision of an Emergency Department Physician.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and hold current, unrestricted Wisconsin licensure, board certification (NCCPA for PA, ANCC/ANA/AANP for NP), and an unrestricted DEA. A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, with Urgent Care or Emergency experience being preferred.
