The Physical Therapist will evaluate patient conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and instruct staff and families on follow-through programs to support patient progress. Responsibilities also include communicating patient status, assisting with scheduling, documenting care according to requirements, and maintaining a safe work area.
Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program and hold a current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered. A current CPR certification, along with strong organizational and communication skills, is also required.

Mosaic Life Care provides Inpatient Rehabilitation/Post-Acute Care in St. Joseph, MO. Therapy plays a very important role in recovery from a life-altering injury or illness. We offer a hospital-based physical rehabilitation program for the treatment of those who have experienced a debilitating injury or illness. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

· Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
· Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
· Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
· Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
· Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standard and applicable state/federal laws
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: · Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
· Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
· Current CPR certification
· Strong organizational and communication skills
