The role involves providing compassionate and excellent patient care in an urgent care setting, including assessing, planning, and treating adult and pediatric patients (18 months and up) for various needs. Responsibilities also include ordering tests, performing minor procedures, managing patient flow, and maintaining quality assurance of records.
Candidates must meet specific educational and licensure requirements for either a Nurse Practitioner (Master's degree, certified FNP, APRN license in RI) or a Physician Assistant (Bachelor's degree, accredited program graduate, NCCPA certified, PA license in RI). A minimum of one year of related experience is required, with two years preferred, including experience caring for children aged 18 months and above.
