As an ER Registered Nurse in Newport, you’ll be the frontline beacon of urgent care—assessing rapidly changing conditions, initiating life-saving interventions, and coordinating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff. Your responsibilities will include performing triage with acuity assessment, performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, initiating resuscitation protocols, administering medications, managing IVs and advanced equipment, rendering clear documentation for legal and clinical continuity, and delivering compassionate patient and family education during stressful moments. You’ll participate in code responses, trauma activations, and rapid discharge planning, ensuring patient safety and throughput while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in charting and handoffs.
