Provides comprehensive respiratory care across all patient settings, specializing in critical care, airway management, advanced life support, and mechanical ventilation for all age groups. Responsibilities include intubation, neonatal transport, and precepting residents, nurses, and students.
Requires graduation from an approved technical program, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if performing adult intubations, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) if performing neonatal intubations, NBRC registry, and Ohio RCP licensure. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a related field is necessary.

In order to remain in this position, this individual must do at least one intubation per quarter and a total of six per year. This individual must also maintain a 90% success rate over a year period or repeat an OR
