The role involves conducting comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments for diagnostic clarification and providing evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy services. Responsibilities also include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, communicating findings, and maintaining timely clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field and be a Licensed Psychologist, with 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred. Experience in psychological testing, outpatient therapy, and familiarity with trauma-informed care are essential qualifications.
Psychological Assessment & Diagnostic Services Conduct psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments for clients across the lifespan, with a focus on diagnostic clarification (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, learning and cognitive challenges). Collaborate with referral sources such as therapists, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and schools to determine appropriate testing batteries. Interpret results and produce integrated psychological reports with clear clinical recommendations. Communicate findings to families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated care. Clinical Treatment Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-focused approaches. Maintain a diverse clinical caseload, with flexibility to develop areas of specialization (e.g., child/adolescent therapy, trauma, anxiety disorders). Develop individualized treatment plans and track client progress in collaboration with the care team. Team Collaboration & Clinical Leadership Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and clinical team meetings. Maintain timely documentation in accordance with agency, MassHealth, and regulatory standards. Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and culturally responsive clinical environment. Provide supervision or training to interns or postdoctoral fellows when applicable. Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field Licensed Psychologist (required) CANS Certification 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience Experience providing psychological testing and outpatient therapy Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices Experience working with MassHealth or publicly insured populations preferred Strong clinical writing and communication skills Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)
