The LPN provides direct nursing care and medication administration to children and young adults with complex medical needs. Responsibilities include monitoring resident conditions, supervising CNAs, and coordinating care with families and physicians.
Candidates must possess an active Massachusetts LPN license and a valid driver's license. The role requires the ability to meet the physical demands of pediatric resident care.
Deliver direct nursing care and administer medications/treatments safely Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly Support individualized care plans and nursing interventions Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs appropriately Complete accurate documentation, charting, and physician order transcription Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, and care coordination Maintain medication inventory and narcotic documentation Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and care teams Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident concerns Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to meet physical demands of resident care in a pediatric setting
Qualifications: Active Massachusetts LPN license required Valid driver’s license (Class C or D) required
