The Medical Emergency Team (MET) Nurse is responsible for responding to critical situations and concerns across all adult non-critical care units, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic care.
Candidates must possess a current RN license in West Virginia and have a minimum of two years of critical care experience, along with required certifications like ACLS and CPR.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a MET Registered Nurse for our Sepsis Program.
The Medical Emergency Team (MET) Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for responding to calls and critical situations or concerns on all adult non-critical care units. The MET Nurse will utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to delegate, coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients/families. This individual makes independent judgments/decisions and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient issues, operating under guidelines of the Adult Rapid Response/Code Blue Protocols.
The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
Domestic and Sexual Violence Counselor
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
Wound care Registered Nurse, RN or LPN
Ophthalmic Technician
Resident Care Associate
