The technician is responsible for maintaining strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and quality care in the operating room. They assist surgeons with instrumentation and anticipate the needs of adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
Three Gables Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Certified Operating Room Technician to demonstrate knowledge of strict aseptic technique to provide the safest most optimum care to each patient. To assure quality care of patient in the Operating Room. To assist the Surgeon with instrumentation and anticipate his/her needs. To provide care based on needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescents, and geriatric.
Qualifications: Certificate of training for Operating Room Technician
Demonstrates ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day
Demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis
Demonstrates ability to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis.
Candidates must hold a professional certificate of training for Operating Room Technicians. Physical requirements include the ability to stand or walk for five hours and lift or push/pull between 20 and 25 pounds regularly.
