St Helens are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Social Worker to join their team.

• What will your responsibilities be?
• In this role, you will respond to referrals from MASH and complete assessments within 45 days.
• You will identify needs and work with children and families to provide support and implement plans.
• Handling section 47 enquiries, CIN, assessments, and planning will be part of your responsibilities.
• You will collaborate with professionals to support children and their families.
• Additionally, you will manage cases involving children on child in need plans for short-term periods until they either step down or step up to ICPC, at which point cases will transfer to the longer-term assessment service.
• Your role will be crucial in ensuring that children receive the appropriate support and care they need during these transitions.

Qualifications

and Experiences: To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
