The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of patient care duties and assisting with the overall workflow of the medical practice. This includes clerical operations, maintaining patient rooms, and performing clinical duties such as checking vitals and administering injections.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a Medical Assistant certificate, or be able to obtain certification within six months of employment. Current BLS/CPR certification and familiarity with medical terminology are also required.
