The Nurse ensures all clients receive proper medical treatment as dictated by regulations, handling sick calls, routine episodic care, and admission screenings. Key duties include supervising medication administration and storage, communicating with offsite providers, and conducting staff training and emergency drills.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing (LPN, LVN) and possess a minimum of one year of nursing experience. A valid Licensed Practical Nurse registration in the state of employment is mandatory.

The Nurse role is responsible for ensuring all Affiliated AMIkids Program clients receive the proper medical treatment as dictated by Rule 63M-2 F. A. C. The Nurse is responsible for sick call, routine medical care including episodic care, admission required screenings, medical records upkeep, communication with offsite medical providers, transportation when required, training for program staff, routine emergency drills, and monitoring of all clients’ medical and dental needs.
Weekday coverage, between 8am - 5pm
